The cost of the camp is $25/student, which will include food, beverages, a t-shirt and souvenirs. Also, every camper will have the opportunity to walk away with autographed jerseys, footballs, t-shirts, photographs, etc. Camp for grades 9-12 will take place on Friday, June 2nd and camp for grades K-8 will take place on Saturday, June 3rd. The high school camp will be set-up with some NFL-style combine testing to include the vertical leap, standing long jump, Pro Shuttle, 20-yard dash and 40-yard dash.
The cheerleaders will be broken into groups of grades K-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-8. The cheerleading campers will have the opportunity to work firsthand with several professional coaches, including a number of local middle and high school coaches. Several of the Memphis Grizzlies’ Dance Team members will also be available as well. The students will be exposed to a number of disciplines including choreography, stunts, transitions, routine development, safety, etc. In addition to this, life and character development principles will be discussed as well. The cheerleading camp will be Saturday only and will cost $25/student.
Limited space is available for both camps. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
